Taylor
Taylor Swift has become a unique pop star: a superstar who crossed over completely from country music to pop culture and became an iconic pop star that is set to endure forever, and sweeping over everywhere. Swift has shed her roots in the country as if they were second skins showing herself to be one of the best pop singers and songwriters within her generation. Swift is able to take the zeitgeist of today and make it her unique. The evidence was clear in her early songs, particularly in her neo tribute of Tim McGraw. On her second release Fearless (2008) Swift revealed a singer/songwriter who was beginning to know her. Fearless was a huge success worldwide but not only in the United States (where it received six times platinum for the Top Ten Hits Love Story as well as "You Belong with Me") as well as in Canada Australia, the U.K. as well as other nations. Swift was able to consolidate her popularity by releasing Speak Now almost two year later. The singer's popularity increased throughout her subsequent three albums: Red (2012) 1989 (2014) and Reputation (2017). Swift became a household name within a genre where she belonged. Her name was always in the forefront of pop even after she changed her style with her sibling albums, folklore and Evermore in 2020.
