Harry Edward Styles (also known as Harry Styles in the music world) is an British musician and a vocalist. Harry Styles was one of the founding members of One Direction. His parents are Des Styles and Anne Cox. The couple were born on the 1st day of February, 1994, in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire. Harry Styles attended the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive school. There along with three fellow students, he formed his group musical, White Eskimo. After winning the Battle of Bands 2009 thanks to their outstanding performance, they also participated in the 2010 Battle of Bands. The musician always had an interest in music but wanted to become an attorney or a physical therapist. In the past, he was employed for a short time in a bakeshop in the city he lived in and hoped to assist financially at home. Harry Styles auditioned for The X Factor in 2010 and performed Is not She Lovely, the Stevie Wonder song. He was chosen. This was the reason that the group split. Nicole Scherzinger was the judge that suggested Harry Styles to be part the group that would later be called One Direction, along with Liam Payne Zayn malik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell sponsored five teenagers to create the group in 2010. The five-piece band was sponsored by Simon Cowell. They performed Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would Suck without You along with Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart. They were among the most competitive groups in the contest. Despite this, they finished third behind Rebecca Ferguson. Harry Styles, his group and Cowell did not take home the prize. However, Cowell offered Harry Styles a 2 million pounds contract with Syco.
